These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by iBIN Landscaping Inc. / iBIN Lawn Care & Weed Control (“iBIN”, “we”, “us”) to the customer (“you”, “client”) at the service address on the booking.
By booking or accepting service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Services Covered
iBIN provides lawn care and related services including (but not limited to): mowing, trimming/edging, cleanups, dethatching/power raking, aeration, blowouts, bagging, and weed control/fertilizer applications (as booked). Services are provided based on the package, quote, or booking confirmation.
Not included unless specifically quoted: pine cone/pine needle removal, apple removal, and hand-weeding.
2) Scheduling, Access & Site Conditions
- You agree to provide safe access to the service area on the scheduled day (including gates unlocked, pets secured, and hazards removed).
- You are responsible for removing or clearly marking items that can be damaged (hoses, toys, cords, low-hanging wires, decorative edging, etc.).
- iBIN is not responsible for delays caused by blocked access, unsafe conditions, or items left in the service area.
3) Weather, Delays & Right to Reschedule
iBIN may reschedule or cancel services when necessary due to:
- weather conditions (rain, storms, wet ground, high winds, extreme temperatures),
- equipment issues,
- safety concerns,
- payment issues,
- staffing constraints, or other reasonable circumstances.
We will aim to notify you as soon as possible and reschedule to the next available date.
4) Quotes, Estimates & Additional Time Approval
- All quotes are estimates, based on typical conditions.
- If additional time is required to complete the job, iBIN will contact you for approval before proceeding with extra work/time.
Hourly rate / surcharge rate: C$59 per hour (unless otherwise stated in writing).
5) Overgrown Grass Surcharge
If grass is overgrown (generally over 6 inches) at the time of service, a one-time surcharge may be applied due to additional time, equipment load, and cleanup required. We will apply the C$59/hour rate (or a fixed surcharge if agreed in advance).
6) Grass Clippings & Disposal
- Grass clippings will be placed in the property’s green bin when available.
- If the green bin is full, iBIN may use paper yard waste bags and leave them neatly on the property.
- Removal/haul-away of bags is not included unless quoted separately.
7) Debris Bags (Cleanup Services)
- iBIN provides the first 8 debris bags free (per service visit).
- If more than 8 bags are required, an additional C$3 per bag will apply.
- Debris bags remain on the property for city pickup unless you purchase a separate haul-away service (if available).
8) Pine Cones / Pine Needles, Apples, Hand Weeding
These items/services are not included in standard packages:
- pine cones / pine needles removal
- apple removal
- hand weeding
If requested, they are billed at C$59/hour (or as quoted).
9) Cancellation Policy (Customer)
Because iBIN reserves time exclusively for your booking:
A) One-time services (Spring Cleanup, Fall Cleanup, etc.)
- You may cancel without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled service date/time.
B) Full-season mowing (monthly) and year-round services
- A 20-day notice is required to cancel.
C) Canceling a scheduled mowing visit
- Please notify iBIN at least 24 hours in advance to cancel/skip a specific mowing visit.
How to cancel
You may cancel by:
10) Discount Policy (Early Cancellation / Discontinuation)
If you received a discount for a mowing season or year-round service, the discount is valid only if the agreed service period is completed.
If you discontinue/cancel early, iBIN may:
- remove the discount, and/or
- re-bill previous visits at the regular rate (or charge the discount difference).
11) Weed Control & Fertilizer Terms (Important)
When you book weed control/fertilizer:
- You agree to follow post-application instructions provided by iBIN (including watering timing if applicable).
- You must notify iBIN before service if you have:
- children’s play areas that require special instructions,
- sensitive plants/gardens you want avoided,
- pets with known sensitivities.
- You agree to keep pets and people off treated areas for the recommended re-entry period stated on the service instructions/label guidance provided at the time of application.
- Results vary based on weather, watering, lawn health, and weed type. Weed control is a process and may require multiple treatments for best results.
(iBIN follows applicable Alberta regulations for pesticide handling and application.)
12) Payment Terms
- Payment is due as stated on your invoice/booking confirmation.
- iBIN may pause or cancel future services if an account becomes overdue.
- If payment fails, iBIN may charge applicable administrative fees and rescheduling fees where permitted.
13) Property Damage & Limitations
iBIN takes care to avoid damage; however:
- We are not responsible for damage caused by hidden or unmarked items (sprinkler heads, shallow wires, invisible edging, buried objects, etc.).
- We are not responsible for damage due to pre-existing lawn conditions, pests, disease, drought, poor soil, or neglect.
If you believe iBIN caused damage, notify us within 48 hours of service with photos, so we can review.
14) Photos & Marketing (Optional – You Can Keep This)
iBIN may take before/after photos for quality control. With your permission, we may use photos for marketing (website/social media) without showing personal identifying details.
15) Communication
You agree that iBIN may contact you by call/text/email for scheduling, service updates, approvals, and billing.
16) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
17) Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining sections remain in effect.
